Is there a way to change the connection order from router >> vonage >> computer to router >> computer >> vonage? I'm living in a basement suite and sharing the cable bill and connection with my landlords upstairs, who happen to have the modem and router. This makes plugging the Vonage unit into the router a bit of a problematic task.
If the unit can pass the internet through to my computer, shouldn't I be able to pass internet through to it? If not through my computer, what about via a bridge?

I am answering my own post. I checked the archives here. Someone posted that with AT&T DSL, that a down load rate of 1.5MB, and an up load rate of 512KB is needed to operate Vonage service. Once I learned that, I went to the AT&T website, only to learn that my neighborhood wiring is only good for for AT&T twisted pair telephone service, and is not capable of supporting DSL. So, I am stuck with expensive Comcast broadband. However, I will say that Comcast serves my Vonage connection very well.

I recommend telenav. I have telenav with AT&t in the states and I can't live without it, literally. I have had a Garmin nuvi 750 and TomTom GO 720, and Telenav literally has at least twice the POI. I remember those expensive map updates too, telenav has FREE map, poi, voice, etc updates. I first saw TeleNav mentioned in the New York Times and then I went to their website:telenav.com $10/month is a great deal, especially considering it offers more features than a $600 standalone unit.
